Here at Journey, about 5-10 minutes before calling places before each performance, we do something called Circle Up.
All cast, crew and artistic team form a great, big circle around the perimeter of the green room.
The artistic team shares notes, gives encouragement, there may be a vocal warm up, and other fun things that the director will have everyone do to help cast and crew focus and get ready for the show.
At the end of that time, RIGHT before places, we sing, “I Love You, Lord.”
